Jersey shore dress up party. Never watched it. What should I wear?

I'm going to a club next week and it's a Jersey Shore themed party. I have absolutely no idea what to wear and I suck at dress up parties. Can I get away with wearing a shortish dress that I can wear for other normal clubbing nights?
