How do you style shortish wavy hair?

My hair is a few inches below my shoulder, and i don't no how to style it. its shorter than its ever been in my whole life and yesterday my hair dresser straightened it but i don't have to, and i don't intend on straightening my hair every morning. this morning i just brushed it out and its really poofy. i want to air dry and look ok no flat irons or hair dryers.
