How long to regrow my eyebrows?

Okay my eyebrows grow back VERY fast but in an unsightly way seeing as how they are extremely thick, dark, stubble that grows back.. I hate they way my brows look.. Never got them done by a professional and that was my mistake! My eyebrows aren't horrible but there just not the way I want them to look.. So anyways, because they grow back so ugly with the stubble I always end up doing them because I have people to see and can't be seen with bad brows! I was wondering if I just finally stop touching them how long do you think they will take to grow back completely just like they were before I ever touched them?? The hairs I remove grow back 2-3 days after removal if that means anything.. Not completely though.. Just shortish stubble like I said.. And also, can they even get back to the state they were in before I ever touched them??
