What should i say to break the ice?

its hard for me to approach girls i see. first its hard for me to tell if a girl is interested but after i figure it out i dont know what to say. its not that im bad with the ladies if i get introduced im fine i just dont know how to go up to a girl i see at college, or a party ect. im not looking to get laid , im just looking for a girl again
